Multiplayer online games to improve LEADERSHIP
Have you ever considered games and 3d simulators as an effective tool to improve LEADERSHIP in your organization and executives / team leaders?
The tools and techniques used by player on multiplayer online games will change how leaders function tomorrow—and could make them more effective today.
The organizational and strategic challenges facing players who serve as game leaders are: recruiting, assessing, motivating, ewarding, and retaining talented and culturally diverse team members; identifying and capitalizing on the organization’s competitive advantage; analyzing multiple streams of constantly changing and often incomplete data in order to make quick decisions that have wide-ranging and sometimes long-lasting effects.

The the relevant questions in a cost benefit e-Simulators analysis are:
- How much will it cost? How will the costs be budgeted?
- How much of the possible benefit will be realized at each milestone?
- What is the range of possible costs, and what makes the costs increase or decrease? How will costs be contained?
- At what cost will it no longer be worth it?
- How will we know, once we are into it, when to back off or when to “stay the course”?
- What other things could we do with the resources that might be better (opportunity costs), such as could be mapped out in conceptual map
